New Programs in Chronic Kidney Disease Also Offer Sequential Learning Through 3 Modules
August 17, 2007
PRIME® is pleased to announce the release of three Unique Critique® programs on the topic of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) which also engage PRIME®’s Sequential Learning format. Sequential Learning™ programs provide a series of CME activities intended to build the knowledge domain of the audience through repeat impact and a stepped approach to more complex information. The intent is to sequentially build the audiences’ level of knowledge in related disease pathology as well as assist participants in retaining knowledge through reinforcement. The goal is for attendees to gain knowledge in the disease area, assimilate the evidence provided in each inter-related module, and subsequently apply the knowledge gained to their practice setting.
This is evident in PRIME®’s Unique Critique® programs on chronic kidney disease. CME Module 1 provides essential elements in comorbid conditions of CKD. CME Module 2 provides evidence-based management strategies in concomitant cardiovascular disease. CME Module 3 explores the profound effect of diabetes in patients with CKD and cardiovascular disease.

Slated for release in October 2007 are two Unique Critique® CME/CE programs on the topics of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). These programs will utilize an expanded version of the highly popular faculty-to-user question-and-answer format available in Unique Critique® which will feature two expert faculty for each program.
